2017

In February 2017, the Stultifera Navis Institutom expedition led by Fernando Martín Velazco arrived at the Ojo de Liebre Lagoon with the aim of reading poetry to the gray whales. Placing yourself in that place was an invective to subvert the history of that geography and test new possibilities for interaction. Wherever the whale was harmed the most, it was given the best possible human act: a poem.

To their surprise, the cetaceans were great enthusiasts of the lyric. For hours the marine mammals repeatedly approached the small boat from where the stultonauts read an anthology of poems prepared for the occasion.

This is the record of that experience.
